My top bagel spots...

Hey everyone, I know it's been a while since I've posted but I am back up and running :)  I was going to do a post about a few spots I tried last week, however I ended up just going to bagel spots so I guess this post is for all my bagel lovers! First spot I tried was Bodega bagels in Belfast City Centre I had been dying to try Bodega Bagels and when I found out they opened up a couple of steps away from the Ulster campus I had to try it out! I got the 'Hello-you' bagel and it was amazing... it had hot honey, bacon, halloumi and a hash brown inside. I also got a caramel iced latte and for somewhere not specialising in coffee I thought it was really nice (coming from a coffee snob). They also sell boulder cookies which is their signature cookie with walnuts and chocolate chunks and it was so good, it's kind of like a New York style cookie. Overall really enjoyed this wee spot, even though they were super busy their service was great and I didn't have to wait fo...

Belfast City Centre Brunch Recommendations...

Hi everyone, thanks for all the engagement on my last blog post! Today I am going to outline my favourite brunch spots in the city centre, whether you are out shopping or you're nipping into town for work or Uni. I have 3 of my go to spots awaiting for you!

First up we have Neighbourhood on Donegall Street...

Neighbourhood is an amazing option - not too far from the Ulster campus and also all of your favourite shopping spots! It has a lovely cosy vibe and it has a great menu catering to all tastebuds, it also almost always has a queue so get there early. I tried their tiramisu iced latte which was amazing - sadly didn't get a pic of it but you can check it out on their Instagram. I know that some if not all their bakes are from Kin and Folk which is another must try spot! They do amazing pastries and buns. On a whole Neighbourhood is the perfect spot for a catch up with friends or if you need a new brunch spot in the city centre this is a great option! My favourite food from Neighbourhood is the french toast - never fails.

Another great spot is The Pocket on the Upper Church Lane...

The Pocket is a really unique brunch spot just a dander away from Victoria Square. Maybe not the best spot for picky eaters but is an amazing place for those wanting an unusual brunch, granny and I got the waffle french toast which was delicious. It was covered in a cinnamon sugar topping which gave it a churro kind of style and had a pistachio floss on top - definitely not your typical meal! I love in here as it is really nice to get a change from your traditional brunch options. It is a really quirky brunch spot in the city centre - again always busy so stop by on a quieter weekday morning.

Established Coffee is another one of my favourites...

Established is a very short walk away from the Ulster Campus which is a blessing and a curse - I just can't help myself after a long day at Uni! Featured above was when they were doing a crème brulee french toast, which is sadly no longer available but they do have a french toast option available usually every time they change the menu. I love the coffee in here... this week I tried their spiced fig vanilla latte which was perfect for the autumn season! Established also do a pie and drip special every Sunday, so if you are looking for a sweet treat after your Sunday brunch this is the one. The week I went they had a pistachio and white chocolate pie which was to die for. The flavour changes every week so keep an eye out on their Instagram.

Thanks for reading everyone!
